With some portable detectors you have to worry about charging or even changing batteries, but not with the BWC2-M50200. This portable gas detector is made to last for entire 2 years and it runs continuously. Simple to use and operate, you'll find the BWC2-M50200 maintenance free. The sensor never needs changing and the low alarm sounds at 35 ppm (parts per million). High alarm at 200 ppm (default).The two years of operation can be as long as three years, if you need to store the unit. In fact, storage is proportional to longevity, and six months of hibernation gives you an additional six months of operation.
